Prevalence of different bacterial species in the uterine fluid of repeat breeder cows

Among the diverse factors, bacterial infections in reproductive tract potentially cause of repeat breeding dairy cows. The present research was conducted to appraise uterine organism healthy fertile cows (HFC) and breeder (RBC) establish a relationship with previous disease or conditions. A total 43 samples were collected from 10 33 RB for bacteriological study. RBC, 39.4% harbored isolates E. coli (30.3%), Staphylococcus aureus (27.3%), epidermidis (15.2%), Bacillus spp. (18.2%). Total Viable Count (TVC) RBC higher (1.81 x 1010CFU/mL) than normal (1.3x1010 CFU/mL). No recovered 60.6% RBCs 80.0% single, mixed infection two, three four species observed discharge 12.1%, 9.1%, 12.1% 6.1% respectively. From animal demographic data sub-clinical mastitis, acute endometritis, dystocia, retention placenta, abortion 42.4%, 39.4%, 6.1%, In contrast, presence subclinical placenta recorded 50%, 30%, 30.8%, 23.1%, 15.4% cows, This result could help veterinarian design proper antibacterial therapy based on bacteria RBCs.
